Measuring Tips

Make sure that the measuring tape lays flat on the surface and is snug but not compressing the body.

The person being measured needs to stand up straight but remain relaxed.

Wear the same undergarments that will be worn with the finished garment.

Wear a close-fitted and thin top and bottoms.

Tie a string onto your waist before taking measurements. You will use this as a reference line while measuring to ensure the most accurate measurements possible.
