Welcome to Lindsey Watson Designs. By accessing our website and purchasing our products, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

Booking Policy

Custom orders and consultations require an appointment.

Appointments must be scheduled in advance through our website or via direct contact.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

Custom Order Payment Policy

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin any custom order. This deposit secures your spot in our production schedule and covers the initial cost of design time, pattern drafting, and material procurement. Please refer to the Order Cancelation Policy for details on deposit retention.

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the order and before shipping or pickup.

Payment can be made with a personal check or accepted online payment methods, including Venmo. Future payment methods may be added.

Orders will not be processed until the initial deposit is received. Custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded, as they are made to individual specifications.

Order Cancellation

Order cancellations must be made within 48 hours of deposit payment and before production has begun. Custom piece deposits are non-refundable if design work has been completed or materials (fabric, crystals, etc) have been purchased. If an order is canceled before any design work or material procurement has begun, the deposit will be returned minus a 15% administrative/processing fee.

Production and Shipping

Custom pieces typically require 4-8 weeks for production. This timeline is an estimate and may vary based on order volume, design complexity, and material sourcing.

We offer a limited number of custom order slots per month. Orders are accepted on a first-approved basis (after deposit and design approval).

Shipping time is separate from production time. Lindsey Watson Designs is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.

All shipping and handling fees are the responsibility of the customer. Due to the custom, high-value nature of our products, all packages will be shipped with a declared value equal to the final purchase price and will include full third-party insurance coverage. The cost of this insurance will be applied to the customer’s shipping charge. We are not liable for any shipping delays, loss, or damage caused by the carrier. In the event of loss or damage, the customer agrees to cooperate with us in filing a claim with the insurance provider. 

Returns and Exchanges

Due to the nature of our designs, custom orders are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except in the event the garment was made incorrectly due to an error on our part.

Alterations for Buyer Errors: If errors in measurements were made by the buyer, we will, at our discretion, offer to correct the fit if possible. However, the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs to and from our studio, as well as any necessary fees for additional labor or materials required for the alteration.

Warranty and Repairs

We offer a 6-month warranty on rhinestone embellishments, including one free rhinestone reapplication if stones fall off due to normal wear within that period.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper storage, dry cleaning, accidental damage, snagging, stretching, or alteration performed by a third party.

Customers must contact us within the warranty period to request a repair. 

Additional repairs beyond the warranty period may be available for a fee, and the customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to the repair.

Intellectual Property

Website Content: All designs, images, logos, text, and content on this website are the exclusive property of Lindsey Watson Designs and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without our express written permission. Unauthorized reproduction is strictly prohibited and will result in legal action.

Design Ownership: While the client owns the finished garment, Lindsey Watson Designs retains all intellectual property rights and copyrights to the underlying design concepts, sketches, patterns, and the design files created during the design process. These elements may not be duplicated or reproduced by the customer or any third party without our written consent.
